The Saville Consulting series of cognitive ability assessments measures candidates' aptitude in a variety of workplace contexts. This product helps you save time and money during the selection process by adopting a two-tier structure for first screening out large numbers of applicants, and second selecting in the best of the smaller pool you have identified.


A dual approach to cover all situations

The Saville selection offering consists of three broad ranges - Analysis, Comprehension and Technical Aptitude measures. Within each of these ranges, two levels of assessment are proposed:

  • Swift combination assessments, available online and designed for screening out
  • Separate aptitude tests, available in pencil-and-paper format and designed as a more in-depth measure of the three main areas, to be used later on in the selection process

Incorporating individual tests for different types of occupation and for different styles of work within those occupations, the Saville assessments provide a specific and relevant framework for evaluating ability. This means that the assessments are ethical and fair, providing reliable, quality results for the employer and a transparent, positive experience for the candidate.

A solid report portfolio

The reports present the candidate's scores on the competencies being measured in a clear and professional-looking way. They also include revealing measures of test-taking style (accuracy, speed, caution), giving you insight into the candidate's method when completing the assessment. There is a graphical representation of the results, plus succinct but targeted tips for improvement.
